Challenges

We were challenged with the question: “What could be the next experience for the user?” Guided by the potential of artificial intelligence, we explored how to seamlessly integrate it into the user journey to enhance and simplify every interaction. In a world where AI assists across nearly every platform, our goal was to imagine how we could make the most of it, not just to support the experience, but to truly redefine it.

Approach

We created an experience where AI became the Material Expert, a trusted companion that supports the user at every step, recommending similar products based on the insights of both the material and the project in progress. What once felt like a classic e-commerce journey evolved into an immersive, intelligence-driven experience, guided by product specs and designed to help users take the next best action.

The Material Expert interprets the query and surfaces the most relevant material matches. Users can quickly explore, filter, and confirm selections with AI guidance. Integrated shortcuts streamline actions and accelerate decision-making.

Discovery offers a visual-first journey where materials are explored through projects from around the world. It invites users to browse freely, spark ideas, and see possibilities before narrowing down to specific choices.
