Unified design workspace Editing tools and add-ons live in a tabbed side panel, while the closet preview updates in real time. View controls at the bottom let users switch between 2D and 3D, zoom, and navigate effortlessly.

Challenges

The creator tool needed to support three different users: 1. Architects handling multi-unit projects 2. Designers or families working on a single space 3. Retail shoppers with no design experience. The existing platform was hard to navigate, required frequent backtracking, and overwhelmed users with disorganized controls and unclear editing interactions.

Approach

The needs of all three user types were mapped to create tailored flows that guide them step by step. Tools were reorganized so users only see what they need, when they need it; reducing cognitive load. Navigation was restructured into a clear, forward-moving flow. The plan editor was refined to make every interaction intuitive, with clear inputs and draggable components that behave naturally.

Design in 3D, refine in layout The 3D view allows quick edits and module additions, while the layout view offers clickable walls and flexible shapes for precise measurement adjustments.

Mapping & Matrix steps for Multi-unit projects Mapping tools allow architects to assign closets directly onto blueprints, while the unit matrix connects each unit template to the full project structure.
